Donation Drive Party to Narayan Seva Orphanage

Donation Drive Party to Narayan Seva Orphanage

At Philosohouse, we’ve always felt that the best moments are the ones shared not only with each other, but also with those who might need it more. On January 5th, we gathered at our villa for what was meant to be a simple party, but it naturally became something more meaningful. We invited everyone to bring clothes and toys they no longer needed. Throughout the night, people arrived carrying donations, ready to give. The atmosphere felt light and genuine. There was music, laughter, conversations, and a quiet understanding that this night had a deeper purpose.

On January 7th, we brought everything to Narayan Seva Children Home in Lovina, along with food supplies prepared by Philosohouse. Being there was a special experience. We started by sitting together in a circle, introducing ourselves one by one. It was a simple moment, but it gently brought everyone closer. You could feel the space shift, from strangers into something more familiar. Then they took the lead. The kids shared performances, dancing and singing with so much confidence and joy. There was something very honest in the way they expressed themselves. No hesitation, just presence. You could see how much it meant for them to be seen and heard.

When we brought out the donations, the energy lifted again. They moved around excitedly, choosing what they liked, showing each other, helping one another. It wasn’t just about receiving things. It felt like sharing something together. After that, everything opened up. We played badminton, sang, danced, and spent time simply being together. Conversations happened in between laughter, small connections forming naturally. It felt light, but it stayed with you.

And then, it was time to say goodbye.

Those moments are always the hardest. It never feels like enough time. But somehow, even in such a short time, something real was created. Something that doesn’t just end when you leave. The home cares for around 70 children aged between 4 and 20. Their daily life is simple but full. They eat vegetarian food, meditate, go to school, learn English, play sports, and explore their creativity. The older children help care for the younger ones, creating a strong sense of connection and responsibility within the community.

The orphanage is run by two women, one from Bali and one from India, whose dedication and kindness shape the entire environment. You can feel the care in everything they do. This experience reminded us that giving is not only about material things. What we received in return was something deeper. A sense of connection, perspective, and a quiet kind of peace.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported the #PartyDharma initiative. To those who donated, showed up, and shared their time and energy. Special thanks to Lev, this would not have been possible in the same way without you.

Good deeds have a way of coming back in their own form.

This is what #PartyDharma is about.

Celebrating life while giving back to it.

And we will continue to do so.
